Despite COVID-19, Westport House Historian Continues to Honor Historic Homes

The Westport Museum for History and Culture has continued to honor historic Westport homes through the pandemic, keeping history alive for generations to come. Bob Weingarten, House Historian and Plaque Coordinator, described this historic home located at Two Northside Lane.

“Eileen and Geoffrey Baldwin have honored the heritage of their home at 2 Northside Lane.  The initially small house, believed to be a caretaker house, was built in 1916 by Fannie Hale Gibson, but sold the property in 1919 to Robert & Aglae VanNalzah.  After several property transfers, Stanley S. Joseloff purchased the property in 1952, enhanced the house and sold it in 1953.  The current owners have lived in the house since 2014.” (Quote and photos by Bob Weingarten)
