Wednesday Evening Racing Tradition
Dozens of boats sailed around the markers off of Compo Beach and Sherwood Island State Park tonight - racing both each other, and the arriving lightning storms threatening the race to the South. The boats were able to finish the race with just a few minutes to spare as storms slowly edged closer to the community. WestportLocal.com photo
