Westport Ready for its UN Visitors
Tomorrow Westport celebrates jUNe Day, an annual tradition when members of the United Nations visit Westport and tour the Town and its amenities. The celebration ceremony is tomorrow at 10:30 AM on Jesup Green. The Ruth Steinkraus Cohen Bridge, named after the woman who founded the jUNe Day celebration in 1965, is adorned in flags of UN countries to celebrate and welcome the community’s guests.
