Westport Daily COVID-19 Cases Up 10; Deaths Unchanged
The Westport-Weston Health District reports that Westport has added 10 positive or probable COVID-19 cases, and has added 0 new death.
Westport total positive or probable cases: 742 cases. Westport total COVID-19 Deaths: 25 deaths.
Long Lots Road COVID-19 Testing Site Closed until Monday
Hartford Healthcare, who operates the COVID-19 drive-thru testing site on their 47 Long Lots Road campus, announced that the site will be closed today, tomorrow, and Sunday (December 4th, 5th, and 6th) in order to prepare the site for the Winter season with new tents for personnel.
The site, which has experienced wait-times of over three hours between its usual operating hours of 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, will offer extended hours on Monday from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM “in order to accommodate any additional testing that may occur as a result of the downtime.” (Hartford Healthcare)
Alternative Hartford Healthcare COVID-19 Testing Sites can be located on their website, while other alternatives can be located through the State’s 211ct.org website.

In our efforts to remain transparent with reports of positive Covid-19 cases associated with our schools, we will continue to provide these updates as information is confirmed. As of the time I am writing to you this evening we have 3 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 from the following schools:
Greens Farms Elementary School- 2
Staples High School - 1
Those impacted have been notified by school and District officials. As a reminder, families are asked to report positive of COVID-19 cases of students using our reporting voicemail or email regardless of whether the students are in remote or hybrid models of instruction.
