Time to Make the Donuts: Coffee An’ Opens
Coffee An’ Donuts re-opened this morning, and just in time for the first night of Hanukkah. The community shop’s donuts, breakfast, and staff were missed by regulars - many of whom returned today for the traditional jelly donuts.
MoCA Looking for High School Artists’ Work Created in 2020
According to the Museum of Contemporary Art, Westport:
“MoCA Westport invites all high school students to submit works of art for a new High School Student Art Exhibition, Hindsight is 2020, on view January 23 - March 6, 2021.
The exhibition will be the first student in-person show at MoCA Westport’s new Museum space, located at 19 Newtown Turnpike in Westport, CT. The Museum also presented an online student exhibition in July 2020.
Hindsight is 2020 will feature submissions created during the year 2020, illustrating a diverse portrait of what young people have been experiencing and observing during these challenging and unique times.
All high school students may submit one work, and all works will be accepted. Submissions are due Friday, January 8, 2021.
Significant cash prizes will be awarded in the amounts of $500, $300, and $100 for First, Second, and Third Place.
Jurists for the exhibition will include Paul Efstathiou, Amy Kaplan and a member of MoCA Westport’s 2020-2021 Teen Council.
