Holiday House Decorating Contest: 2nd Place Winners on Hillandale Road
The Lozyniak Family’s Hillandale Road home won second place in the 2020 Parks & Recreation Holiday Home Decorating Contest. The home also featured lights that were connected to a radio station playing Christmas music for passersby.

Collecting Donations for UConn’s Huskython
Nichole Alley of Fairfield and Grace Ozyck of New Haven, both UConn Juniors, were on Main Street this afternoon asking for donations to the 2020 UConn Huskython fundraiser - which benefits Connecticut Children’s. In addition to its network of students raising funds in the community, the state university typically hosts a full day dance fundraiser in February for the non-profit paediatric hospital. Last year Huskython raised over 1.5 million dollars to assist with the care of the young patients.
