Streets Mainly Clear after 7” Falls over Westport; Ice a Problem
Even sideroads like Blue Ribbon Drive were clear by 9:00 PM tonight, thanks to Town of Westport DPW workers. Although the majority of Westport roadways are clear, some sidewalks, private parking lots, and private roads remain snow covered. As temperatures drop tonight, ice will be a factor as salt works hard to melt the freezing water from today. Wind chills will reach 6 degrees by daybreak, with temperatures rising to warm roadways by the time school begins.
