The American Flag waves high on the hill outside of the Hartford Healthcare Long Lots Road campus this morning as a period of heavier snow took over the community.

A mixture of light snow, sleet and/or freezing rain/drizzle is expected this evening into tonight across the Tri-State.
A light glaze of ice is possible, with additional light snow accumulation mainly across CT and the interior tonight,
Periods of light snow are expected for the entire region on Friday.
Snow covered roads, poor visibility, and hazardous travel are likely for this evening’s commute, and possibly the Friday morning and evening commutes as well. An additional 1 to 3 inches of snow is possible into Friday evening, with the highest totals across the interior.
Temps will hold in the lower to mid 20s across the Interior Tonight and rise slightly into the upper 20s to around 30 degree for the city and coast. Temps will rise into the lower 30s to 35 for much of the region on Friday.
