Weston Center Gets “Post Office on Wheels”, Post Office Renovated
Weston residents will notice something different about their local United States Post Office - it moves. According to the USPS employee staffing the mobile office today, the current post office at 190 Weston Road is planned to be renovated, slowing services and taking up space during the busiest shipping season of the year. The Post Office on Wheels program was launched to aid rural communities around the country, bringing the services of a regular post office to communities that may not be large enough to sustain their own brick and mortar office.
