Car vs. Motorcyle Accident Closes Post Road East at Bulkley Avenue
A serious motor vehicle accident has closed Post Road East at Bulkley Avenue tonight. First responders were dispatched to the area at around 9:45 for the report of a motorcyclist injured after a collision with a vehicle. No word on what caused the accident or the extent of any injuries has been released.

Heavy Traffic Northbound Cripples Local Streets
Traffic on both I-95 and the Merritt Parkway northbound has caused many drivers to escape the roadways, flooding local streets. Route 1 and other alternative routes are backed up for several miles just after 9:15 tonight.
Cribari Bridge: Open and Closed in Less than Ten Minutes
The Cribari Bridge over the Saugatuck opened at 3:00 today for two vessels’ passage at high tide. The system, albeit over 100 years old and now aided with a motor, took less than 10 minutes to complete.
