The Westport-Weston Health District reports that Westport’s COVID-19 cases remained the same today. The State’s daily test positivity rate was 0.82%

• Westport total positive or probable cases: 1,806 cases.

• Westport total COVID-19 Deaths: 31 deaths.

Police Humvees Called out for Water Rescues

Police department leaders reminded residents not to drive through flood waters as Humvees were called out during today’s flooding to assist stranded motorists stuck in flood waters.  One motorist was rescued at this scene by officers after their vehicle was overtaken by the deep water.
