Many beachgoers chose to walk today instead of swim with rough surf continuing through the evening hours.

Skaters at Compo Beach practiced their footwork today as cooler temperatures allowed for a better day at the park.

Swimmers dove through the waves today along Compo Beach as heavy winds and a surf warning made for a perfect opportunity.

Mihali Savouledis and the band Twiddle brought their mix of reggae, rock, jazz, and funk sounds to Downtown Westport as crowds stayed on their feet and bright colors flowed as the guests swayed to the sounds of the Vermont based band. Savouledis is a New Jersey native and is known for his vocals and “six string sorcery” - which drew a large Mihali following to Westport waited in line at the Levitt to pick-up their wrist bands. The concert was another in the Levitt’s summer series of free shows - with pre-registration required for social distancing.
