Superintendent: No COVID-19 Cases in the District Today
From Superintendent Thomas Scarice Dear Westport Families and Staff,
I am pleased to report that we have no newly confirmed cases of Covid-19 associated with our schools today. While this is good news, I ask that we remain vigilant and not relax any efforts to keep the virus at bay in our schools.
Please remember that families are asked to report positive Covid-19 cases of students using our reporting voicemail or email. Please follow this link for more information on reporting.
Additionally, we want to remind families that students with pending Covid-19 tests should not return to school until receiving negative results. This approach is critical in helping us minimize the potential for transmission in our schools.

Westport COVID-19 Cases Up 8; State Positivity Rate Down to 1.88%, Hospitalizations Remain the Same
The Westport Weston Health District reported 8 new COVID-19 cases for Westport since yesterday. The State’s daily test positivity rate was down to 1.88% and hospitalizations were the same.
Westport total positive or probable cases: 2,043 cases.
Westport total COVID-19 Deaths: 31 deaths.
State Daily Test Positivity: 1.88% [down from 2.28%]
State Hospitalizations: 282 patients [same]
