Remembering Deputy Chief Penna
The Westport Police Benevolent Association hosted their annual Car Show at the Saugatuck train station on Saturday. One of the exhibitors honored Deputy Chief Vin Penna who retired after serving with the Westport PD for 26 years. He sadly passed away suddenly of heart failure at the age of 51. His parents Vin and Robin are shown here with the 1964 Chevy Super Sport he purchased in 1964 as a Staples HS senior which was restored by his son Deputy Chief Penna which has 41,000 original miles. The car will now be passed to his grandson, Vin Penna junior.
