Jonathan Steinberg and Candice Savin have the experience, strength and integrity to lead our community and make Westport better than ever.
As the Chair of the Public Health Committee in the legislature, Jonathan helped guide our state through the pandemic and championed policies to protect the health of our students.
Candice Savin’s leadership of the Board of Education was steadfast throughout her term, restoring trust and stability amongst the entire community. She led the Board through the pandemic and kept our students and faculty safe while keeping the doors of learning open. I have personally worked with Candice on the TEAM Westport schools group and have seen first-hand her unwavering dedication to the success of every child.
Most importantly, Jonathan and Candice share my values. This is the right team to lead Westport now.

152 Years of Sunsets for the Perry Crossman-Driscoll House on Riverside Avenue
Tonight’s fiery sunset lit up the Perry Crossman-Driscoll House on Riverside Avenue as cold temperatures and a brief rainbow worked their way into the community. The home, built in 1869, is included in the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Riverside Avenue Historic District.
Cats Need Homes, Too
Cats up for adoption from local non-profit The Alliance in Limiting Strays (TAILS) were also on-hand today at the Westport Dog Festival in hopes of finding their forever home. TAILS operates locally to trap and spay/neuter feral cats while rescuing, fostering, and adopting-out other felines with their team of volunteers. The local animal welfare organization has over 30 cats currently available for adoption.
