Letter to the Editor: “Change is survival for Westport”
Letter to the EditorDear Citizens of Westport:
Change is survival for Westport.
Jonathan Steinberg and Candice Savin will make the important changes necessary for Westport to survive as a first-class community.
Republican governance has left Westport citizens feeling talked at - not included. Presented with excuses not solutions. Plans sit on the shelf while more taxpayer dollars are spent on more plans not action.
Climate change, flooding, affordability, economic development, gridlock – we face them today.
Steinberg & Savin will ACT to address Westport’s challenges. Vote Steinberg & Savin.
Sincerely,
Marla Cowden

WestoberFest Brings Fun To Hundreds
The return of WestoberFest drew hundreds to downtown on Sunday, beginning with the 10K road Race, and a kid's run. There was something for everyone, with multiple microbrews serving tastes of their offerings, great local food and live music by Amber Anchor. While the adults were getting into the spirit of things in the beer tents, the kids were delighted by a giant "bubble-fest". There were celebrants in laderhosen, and adorable dogs adding to the atmosphere. The Air Cooled Classic Vintage Car parade ended up on Elm Street as well, with a nostalgic glimpse into the past including the iconic VW Bus and Beetle, and several classic Porsches.
