Town Accepting Bids to Replay Coffee Shop at Greens Farms Station
Town of WestportThe Town of Westport is seeking proposals for Concession Services at the Greens Farms Railroad Station.
Bids will be received by the Town of Westport until 11 am Friday, November 19, 2021 at the Westport Town Hall Finance Office Room 313, 110 Myrtle Avenue Westport, CT 06880. No bids will be received or accepted after said hour. Copies of the bid documents may be obtained by downloading from the Town’s website.
Due to COVID-19 protocols, responses will be opened the next business day via a ZOOM meeting. Interested parties may apply for the ZOOM meeting access by emailing Rich Kotchko at rkotchko@westportct.gov.
The Town of Westport reserves the right to waive any defects and informality in the bidding or in any bid, to reject any or all bids for any reason whatsoever and to accept that bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Westport.

To the Editor,
On Tuesday, November 2, Westport will choose their next slate of Selectmen to guide the town forward for the next four years. We can’t think of two more qualified, respected and motivated individuals to assume the roles of First and Second Selectwomen than Jennifer Tooker and Andrea Moore who have consistently demonstrated a deep sense of civic and philanthropic commitment toward the betterment of our community.
Tooker brings governing experience at the Selectmen level and Moore’s savviness as Vice Chair of the Board of Finance and tenure on the Representative Town Meeting combined, make for a dynamic and winning ticket.
A vote for the Tooker-Moore ticket is a vote for strong, effective leadership, and a continuity of tax policies that support funding for our award winning schools, infrastructure and town services. Please join us in keeping Westport a great place to live and raise our families, vote for Jennifer Tooker and Andrea Moore on Election Day 2021.

Westport COVID-19 Cases Up 2; State Positivity Rate 2.87%, Hospitalizations Up 1
The Westport-Weston Health District reported 2 new COVID-19 cases for Westport in the past day. The State’s daily test positivity rate was up to 2.87% while hospitalizations were up 1.
Westport total positive or probable cases: 2,128 cases.
Westport total COVID-19 Deaths: 32 deaths.
State Daily Test Positivity: 2.87% [up from 1.83%]
State Hospitalizations: 248 patients [+1]
