Local To Market on Main Street is Fully Open

Local To Market, one of Westport’s exciting new stores opened their patio in August and were fully opened in mid-September by their owners, Chris & Rita Marcocci with the goal of providing a beautiful venue for local companies to reach their customers.

The concept of Local To Market was to bring local food and beverage brands, craft artisans, local artists and entertainers into a dedicated retail store connecting consumers to all things local, and to give back to local charities. Their mission statement is Eat Well, Live Well, Do Well.

Local To Market is in itself its own small business, but inside there are more than 50 other small local businesses. So, by shopping Local To Market, not only are you supporting our business but also supporting the other 50 plus local brands based in Connecticut.

Their art space was curated by among others, the Westport Artist Collaborative with Miggs Burroughs to include art exhibits by Westport area artists. In warmer weather they provide live music on their adjoining patio enhancing the Westport’s downtown shopping experience.
