Darien Rally To Support The People Of The Ukraine
As the heroic people of the Ukraine struggle against the Russian invasion and Ukraine armed forces battle valiantly against a vastly more powerful foe Ukrainian-Americans showed their support in rallies in towns and cities all across our state. This one was held on Saturday March 5th in Darien and once again local officials, clergy and Ukrainians addressed the crowd. Photos from and links to these rallies are all sent to family members back home and then posted to social media. Ukrainians have told us these signs of support from the United States provide much needed encouragement and moral support to people who are growing increasingly desperate for any signs of support and any good news.
