Ride for Paralysis 4 Stops in Westport en Route to Washington D.C.

International non-profit NextStep, which provides a link between paraplegics and rehabilitation and fitness resources, is fundraising to support their mission with the Ride for Paralysis 4. The team stopped on Westport’s Main Street this afternoon for a break in their travels (pictured). The ride started on Saturday in Boston and will end in Washington DC next Wednesday. Each rider is tasked with raising $1,000 per each day they ride, with sponsors and other donors supporting the fundraiser. Funding will go towards the organizations programs for those suffering from paralysis, including NextStep paralysis recovery centers located in other regions of the Country.
