3 Major Truck Crashes Grind I-95 Commute to a Halt

Several truck accidents slowed I-95 to a halt this morning as emergency responders worked to clear the scene to get traffic moving again from Norwalk to Milford, according to the Connecticut DoT.

Southbound-going traffic was the most affected as an accident prior to Exit 16 in Norwalk stopped traffic for several miles just before 9:00 this morning, while another truck vs. car crash 30 minutes later shut down two lanes between exits 21 and 20.

Milford felt the northbound brunt as a rolled-over tractor trailer shut down several lanes of northbound traffic, prior to exit 39A, shortly before sunrise.

No word on injuries from any of the accidents this morning.
