Westport COVID-19 Cases Up 10; State Hospitalizations Dip Below 1,000 Patients for the First Time in Weeks

The State Department of Public Health reported 10 new COVID-19 cases for Westport over the past 24 hours. The State’s daily test positivity rate was up to 8.68% while hospitalizations were down as 56 more patients were released from hospitals, allowing statewide hospitalizations to be below 1000 for the first time in several weeks. 54.10% of those hospitalized are not fully vaccinated.
