Celebrating the Official Start to a Remarkable Drive-in Season

Last night marked the official start to the Remarkable Theater’s 2021 season at their 50 Imperial Avenue location with the showing of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

The Remarkable Theater began in 2020, bringing families together in their own parking spaces through the gift of an outdoor movie theater. The non-profit charity is run by a volunteer team and is designed to support those with disabilities through employment and independence while continuing the battle to bring a true movie theater back to Westport.

On hand to celebrate the official opening night were several volunteers and staff members of the Remarkable Theater standing with First Selectman Jim Marpe and Second Selectwoman Jennifer Tooker (pictured).
