Daffodils where George Washington Once Stood

A new daffodil bed at the intersection of Church Lane and Myrtle Avenue marks the season, and the large plaque in the background marks the spot of the former Disbrow Tavern, where George Washington stopped in 1775. The adjacent Christ & Holy Trinity Church was built nearly 100 years later in 1862.
