Police Searching for Missing Westport Man; UPDATE: Found Safe

Westport Police UPDATE: 

On February 11, 2022, Anthony Cochrane was located out of state, unharmed.

On February 10, 2022, at approximately 11:00 a.m., the Westport Police Department began a missing person investigation.  Anthony Cochrane, a 21-year-old man, was last seen around 3:45 p.m on Sunday, February 6. He was dropped off near the Saugatuck Train Station and was last seen going into Romanacci’s. His family said that he was getting a train and may have been headed to New York City or Washington, D.C., however it is not confirmed he has left the area.


The missing person, Anthony Cochrane is Caucasian, approx. 6’2”, weighs roughly 175 lbs., and has short brown hair.  He was last seen wearing black jeans, a black puffy North Face jacket, and a Patagonia backpack containing camera equipment.


Due to the length of his absence and the family’s lack of communication with him, they are concerned for his well-being.
