MoCA’s Winter Lights Festival Begins Today at Noon; Creative Activities & Food to Celebrate the Season

The Museum of Contemporary Art, Westport (MoCA) is debuting their Winter Lights Festival today at their 19 Newtown Turnpike property. The event was postponed from last week due to today, and will begin at noon for those with reserved times. Registration is available on their website.

From MoCA Westport:

Participate in the creation of an immersive winter-themed experience, including a walk-through Light Path! The outdoor event was created as a collaboration between MoCA Westport and the Up | Next Teens organization.

The Festival will include a Maker and Crafts space in a large airy outdoor tent featuring supplies and step-by-step instructions for families to work together to create winter-themed decorations. These decorations will be incorporated into the Light Path which will be lit up at sun down.

Purchase delicious food offerings from The Melt on-site truck, enjoy complimentary hot cider and hot cocoa from Sheila Barton Events, and explore the High School Student Art Exhibition, Hindsight is 2020, in MoCA Westport’s indoor gallery.

Tickets are available in timed installments (12 -2 PM; 2-4PM and 4-6PM). P

Tickets for MoCA Westport Members for $25/family or $10/individual; Non-Members can purchase tickets for $30 family/$15 individual.

All safety protocols will be explicitly followed.
