Staples Boys Tennis Shuts Out Ridgefield 7-0

The championship Staples Wreckers boys tennis team, who have five state titles in the last five years to their name once again scored a lop sided win dominating in both singles and doubles on Monday at home. They dispatched Ridgefield in two sets, every match. With singles play Staples allowed only three games to the Ridgefield Tigers at most and for doubles, only one set was close, with a tiebreaker in the second set.

Doubles scoring: Luke Brodsky / Brett Lampert (S) def. Ignas Panavas (R)  6-0, 6-3, Hayden Frey / Alex Guadarrama (S) def. Carson Driscoll / Alex Prokopczyk (R)  6-4, 6-1, Jared Even / Clint Graham (S) def. Evan Bellusci / Ben Jolly (R)  6-3, 7-5.
