Sunrise Rotarians Collecting Food Donations Saturday at Saugatuck Congregational Church
When the Pandemic hit, many in the Norwalk community and surrounding towns were without the means to provide essentials for their families - including adequate food and other supplies. For many families in need, Person-To-Person (P2P). a non-profit charitable organization became their main source of support as is the case today.
To help their cause and to fill the P2P Norwalk Food Pantry, Westport Sunrise Rotary (WSR) volunteers will be receiving food donations at the rear parking lot of Saugatuck Congregational Church, 245 Post Road East, Westport CT 06880 on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 10:00am - 2:00pm.

The following is a list of 'Most Needed Pantry' items:
Hearty Soups Snack/Granola Bars
Pasta & Sauce Rick (1 lb. boxes)
Peanut Butter & Jelly Mac & Cheese
Canned Tuna & Chicken Canned Fruit & Veggies
Dried & Canned Beans Pancake Mix
Cold Cereal & Oatmeal Shelf-stable Milk
The following is a list of 'Most Needed Household & Personal' items:
Laundry Detergent Shampoo & Conditioner
Dryer Sheets Toothbrushes & Toothpaste
Disinfectant Wipes Soap: Hand and Body
Kitchen Sponges Deodorant
Liquid Dish Detergent Diapers & Wipes (sizes 5 & 6 are most requested)
Tissues/Kleenex
So as you shop at Costco, Stop & Shop, Fresh Market, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's or Shop Rite in the next few days, please think about our neighbors in need and pick up a few items for them. Your thoughtfulness and generosity will do so much good!
