Tom Scarice, Superintendent of Schools, and the Westport Schools District, are pleased to invite our community to an exciting presentation and discussion [this]Wednesday evening.

As you all know, we are in the early stages of creating a Strategic Plan to take our Schools and our students into the next decade and beyond.  A critical step in that process is projecting what the world our students will inhabit as young adults will look like.  What can we do now to prepare them to thrive in a rapidly changing global economy?  What skills will our students need to positively contribute to their communities?

Next Wednesday, October 20, “Futurist” Mitchell Weiss will engage us in a discussion around these topics and more, with an interactive keynote address and fireside chat, and an open Q and A session. Click here for more information on Mitchell Weiss.

All members of the Westport community are welcome to attend from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Bedford Middle School auditorium. We value the community’s input and hope you will join us for what is sure to be an informative and exciting event!
