Winter Weather Begins in Westport
Winter Weather began today at about 5:00 PM, and won’t stop until around noon tomorrow. Between now and then, a foot or more of snow will blanket the Town - making roads impassable at times. Officials urge residents to stay off of the roads to allow emergency and public works crews easy access to homes and businesses, and to allow the quick clearing of snow. Any cars parked in the public right-of-way on any street may be at risk of towing or ticketing to better assist in snow removal operations. Photo taken on Riverside Avenue.
