The Cottage Names new Chef de Cuisine

Press Release:

Chef/Owner Brian Lewis today announced that The Cottage has named Danny Oddo Chef de Cuisine at its Westport location.

“As we recently opened the fourth restaurant for our company, Full House Hospitality Group, the true heart and soul of each location is truly the team I have in place,” said Lewis.  “I am thrilled to announce the addition of Danny to our team at The Cottage Westport and am looking forward to working together to continue to offer innovative dishes that celebrates the best of seasonal, local ingredients.  As I work towards spreading my time at all of our locations throughout the week, I’m confident in the work Chef Danny will do to continue the vision of The Cottage.”

Prior to joining the Full House Hospitality Group, Oddo served as Executive Sous Chef at The Simone, a New York Times designated 3-star French fine-dining restaurant in New York City. He also worked for Marc Murphy’s restaurant group, which included Landmarc in Tribeca, and was part of the opening team at the Paloma in the Hotel Hendricks.

“Growing up in New Jersey, my love of cooking stemmed from visiting local farms and spending time in the kitchen with my mother and grandmother,” added Oddo.  “I am inspired to have the opportunity to work with Chef Brian and his entire team to bring my experience and background to our guests, and to work with local farmers and purveyors to offer new flavors, textures and colors on our menu.”
