The Staples Hockey Team defeated BBD (Bethel, Brookfield, Danbury) Cooperative Team by the score of 4-2, surveying a comeback attempt by BBD, pulling within one with less than two minutes to play. Goalkeeper Aaron Kail held back BBD with 22 saves.

Said Wreckers Coach Matthew Bohn: "I thought we did a lot of good things today. We’ve really been able to use our depth lately, which has been nice. Our seniors have been leading the charge. Jason Wolgast scored a couple timely ones today. And Aaron in net has been dialed in. Again, when we needed him most he stood strong back there.”
