Post Road Bridge Closed for Possible Structure Fire at historic National Hall
Westport Fire Department photoAround 3:30 this afternoon a possible structure fire was reported at National Hall, the historic building built in 1837 that once housed a furniture company, a hotel, and most recently The Meatball Shop. Traffic around the downtown area will be extensive as firefighters respond to the incident, with traffic shut down on the Post Road Bridge, Post Road West to Kings Highway North, and Wilton Road. No other information has been released at this time.
