The 1,808 square foot home sits on 1.25 acres of land in a AA zone, and last sold in May for $1.1 million. Prior to the May 2021 sale, the home was purchased in June of 1991 for $405,000 - and was owned by the same family for the following three decades. The home joins two other properties on High Point Road to have demolition signs out on the residential street, with house numbers 34 and 55 also facing the Westport wrecking ball. Built in 1883, the Norman S. Kellogg House on Riverside Avenue celebrated its 138th Fourth of July with bunting and flags. The home was built over 100 years after Independence Day in 1776, and won the 2015 Preservation Award from the Westport Historic District Commission.
