Smart Walk for Smart Kids Gathers Hundreds at Sherwood Island

Hundreds walked the shoreline this afternoon in support of Smart Kids with Learning Disabilities. The non-profit organization works to give assistance to kids and their families who navigate learning disabilities (such as ADHD, dyslexia, or OCD) through support and learning opportunities. Founder Jane Ross said she was “delighted” the with turn out of supporters, volunteers, and vendors. “It’s important to feel supported as a community” she continued, “it’s good for them to know that other families are going through the same issues.”
