Chamber of Commerce Window Contest Winners Announced

Westport Weston Chamber of Commerce

The Westport Weston Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the winners of this year’s record-breaking Halloween Window Painting Contest.

This year 131 children painted 65 windows all throughout town this past Saturday, far surpassing last year's then record number of entrants. The only glitch was the Nor’easter storm washed away many of the paintings. Some still are intact and available for viewing. Thankfully, the judging was done prior to the rain.

“What a turnout for a fun artistic day around town,” said Matthew Mandell, Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce. ”The kids and families were so enthusiastic and really enjoyed the event.  A big shout out to all the businesses that answered the call for extra windows.”

Winners received a certificate and a $25 gift card to Cold Fusion for some well-deserved gelato.
