Higher Tides Flood Canal Road, as Usual

With a full moon and higher-than-average tides, today’s high tide brought minor localized flooding to Saugatuck Shores this afternoon. Canal Road remained passable by the seasoned islanders who are used to its flooding during storms and high tides. Saugatuck Island can be accessed by both Canal Road and the Harbor Road bridge.
