Kings Highway Hill down to the Grass after Busy Morning
The sledding hill behind Kings Highway Elementary School was showing how loved it was as much of the snow had disappeared, allowing the grass beneath it to show. 171 Winters for the “Clear House” on Riverside Avenue
Built in 1851, the George Platt home sat high and safely above the Saugatuck river and the traffic of Riverside Avenue this morning. Also known as the Clear House, the home sits along a row of historic houses and structures that commemorate some of the original families of Westport as it celebrates today its survival of 171 Winter seasons in the community.
